I saw someone doing that at the house opposite me,our past son in law (now know as the maggot)arrived home one night to find the street blocked by police,a young guy had done that and all of him went into the shredder
back to my experience, when I saw the young guy doing that i went and told him to stop,he laughed at me,I then asked who was in charge of the job,his boss wanted to ignore me until I told him that worksafe was on their way and he could explain why he would let anyone work so much at risk
This event upset me that someone could be so stupid
Another experience was when my daughter called very upset, she had some people to do a bit of tree pruning, she rang and said what will i do the guys on the job where throwing a running chainsaw between them
I guess there are just a lot of stupid DH out there
this was the same company each time,i will name them if anyone wants to know

They did not catch it here, they brought it with them.

We had one here where a worker was feeding the chipper with the top end of the tree first. The boss couldn't figure out where the worker went and left the chipper working. The worker was in the chip bin, nicely chipped.

There was also one in Jacksonville FL a few years ago.

"During 1992--2002, a total of 31 occupational injury deaths were attributable to mobile chippers."

Except in committee meetings where it seems to spread rapidly.

I knew a council general manager who said all committees should consist of 3 people with 2 permanently absent

I thought that was how most run these days, the staff don't want to listen to the councilors or the general public.
I used to be an engineer, I'm not an engineer any more, but on the really good days I can remember when I was.
