Trichlorothane is used in many liquid paper bottles, non flammable.... however trichloroethylene is also known as Trilene, is an anesthetic and is now hard to get.... I have a very small quantity of it (great for cleaning spark plugs) and you have to wear gloves or it will remove the oil in your hands as well as try to put you to sleep....
Many years ago I bought some from Ajax chemicals at Auburn......now ??

Probably wont help the original question, however Trichloroethane (was) sold as film cleaner by Kodak, you may still be able to source it for that
