Thanks very much Sally and Matt for the great afternoon. There was plenty of good food to be had, plenty of good chats and laughter had by all. The sun may have coloured me up just a touch so now I can skip my next spray tan session.
I just watched a couple of metal spinning videos. That looks cool. A demo in the future will be muchly appreciated, unless I get too eager and try on my little lathe using a crowbar

Did my knee in the job before Christmas. Had an arthroscopy on the 9th March. Surgeon said he cant do anything more for me ....
Was ar ER this morning about 5am. Told the doctor attending doctor who my surgeon, did not need to ask her opinion, just read her face.
Bugger, so does this mean a knee replacement and whats it mean for our plans for Easter? The person who never made a mistake never made anything
Cheers

I did a TAFE journey man's panel beating course years ago and the first job was to turn a flat bit of sheet into a hub cap or something that looked like one. A BIG ball pein hammer, one sheet of steel and a hardwood block with a top concave surface were the main tools used. It even looked like a hub cap when I was finished which surprised the hell out of me. Some of the spectators look a bit suss by the way.

Sally & Matt,
Thanks for a good day. Good company, good food and great weather - what else could be necessary. Champagne for the ladies was a nice touch
