I showed that to SWMBO. She thought that it was funny and said, "I have two sons and a husband like that." Having survived almost 52 years with her, I just laughed with her. Yes it was funny but the point was missed by a light year.

Trouble is my partner has this ability to tell what's going on. Last Friday was her 70th Birthday and I was organizing a surprise party for her, arranged that her 3 daughters would be there (first time in 17 years that they were together), organised a cake, the booking for the hotel. Wednesday night she asked what's going on, my reply "nothing" she kept on and on about it, does it involve the middle daughter?, "no" was the reply, "I know somethings up?". Friday the Landlord came around and wanted to come out on Sunday for a chat. I said that "we were going out" "where too" was the reply. Next thing it was on for young and old.
It'll be the last time I ever try to keep a secret from her!!!!!!
