    Default Problem with viewing photos.

Lately I have problems with viewing photos uploaded through Tapatalk.

After a fight with cancer my Fathers only wish was to hold out long enough to see his first and only Grandchild.

On the 8th Jan 2017 our little Elleshany came into the world screaming. At only 3 days old she took her first outing to meet her Grandpa. He was able to hold her in his arms. The following day he passed on.

Here is a photos I took of the now 10 Day old new tool in my box.

When I click on the symbol to open in a new page I get the following

This site can’t provide a secure connection

    uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com uses an unsupported protocol.
    ERR_SSL_VERSION_OR_CIPHER_MISMATCH
I'm using Windows XP with Chrome Version 49.0.2623.112 m

This has happened also with DaveTTC post on Watcha Dooen at Dooen - 27, 28 & 29 GTG 2017

    G'day Peter

Not sure what your problem is as the photo shows fine to me. Is it because you can't see it on a phone or because it was uploaded from a phone?

Tapatalk is (compatible) sort of compatible with vBulletin. Not everything works, some sections of the forums and some photo's, pdf's don't seem to work.

Using the forums native (default) mobile browser should work with pretty well everything.

You can find it by clicking on the down arrow on the little white box on the bottom navigation bar, then clicking on "Default Mobile Style".

Or try using a computer or another form of non phone device.

I also had a quick look at DaveTTC's thread and found all pics. If you're using Tapatalk it may take a little while for the pics to appear depending on how quick your connection is.

With Tapatalk you might have to pay for or upgrade to the pro version.

    That's about all I've got.

If I get more info I may be able to help a bit more.

    Cheers - Neil

PS I used Tapatalk and this forums's Defaul Browser on an android phone. I also used Chrome, Firefox, Opera and Microsoft Edge, all with Windows 10 and no problems seeing the pics. Don't have anything running XP any more so can't comment on that.

    Thanks Neil for your reply.

I am having the problem on my pc using the default forum skin (I only use my mobile for emergency calls when I'm out) and when a photo is uploaded by the poster using Tapatalk I have the problem. All I see is a small square instead of the photo and when clicking on it I get the above quoted error message from Chrome.

On your advice I used my wife's computer and that one does not have the same problem and I see the photos so I guess it's because her Chrome is a later version then what I have. So the problem is that I'm still using Windows XP which Google no longer supports with Chrome updates.

I will get my resident computer guru to install Firefox ( or other browser) and see if that fixes the problem.

    Peter.

Peter, I still use XP and also Firefox and I can see the photo, so that would probably fix your problem.
