Default Hello and help with marri dining table

Hi all, Ive recently moved to wa and decided to build a marri slab dining table.

So far i have cut to dimension, filled and sealed all cracks with west systems epoxy and sanded the wood back to 240 grit.

My question is... finishing... how do i finish it I do like the glass look of resin but scared about trying to get a perfectly clear and level coat. I have read elsewhere the cabots marine grade gloss is a good alternative. What would be better/easier and do i need to sand the timber back to a finer grit before applying and also how many coats and when to sand etc. Any help would be greatly appreciated thank in advance

PS on the "finishing" question, may I suggest you add a new thread in either finishing or general sections of the forum to gain a wider audience and thus answers to your question....

    Just a sudgestion.

I've had quite good results using festool surfix oil (heavy duty) on marri tables, building it up to get a glassy look with multiple coats.
