Default G’Day all:-----kind of new to this:

Well why paddle, when you can jump straight into the deepend.

That is me in a nut-shell.

I have a Router Lathe: Yet to use: but got great plans

I have a cada-tec wood lathe: Yet to use
I have a Metal lathe: and have now upgraded, to a largerMetal lathe: playing but not using,

All this I am getting involved in at the age of seventy, so for you springchickens out there, you can never be too old to learn anything.
In fact in this technoknowledgeable world, you may find us older folk can catch on realfast, when it comes to hands on,
Though I mustadmit I do have a technical background, being a retired Heavy Industrialelectrical contractor and Marine electrical engineer.

So lookingforward to perusing this site, and obviously asking questions:

After all how isa bloke expected to learn if you don’t ask anything:

    Thanks Denis-Peter:

You have summed it quite well, never too old to learn.
