G'day!
Hi Folks,
Just introducing myself, I'm just a hobbyist, I work in IT actually, but my dad was a builder, so I got some basics from him growing up.
I tend to come up with crazy ideas that dont make sense from time to time. My wife says I'm crazy, its cheaper and easier to buy crap from bunnings, but I enjoy the "ownership" of looking at something you had a hand in constructing. I'm sure everyone here knows what I mean.
I also have a bad habit of over engineering things and doing things the expensive way. I'll attach some photos of my last project in here as soon as I figure out how to.
*EDIT: Link to my garage shelves here:

This project used Red mahogany uprights and frames with Tas. Oak boards for the shelves. Some would say its a waste to put that in a garage, but I like it.

G'Day & Welcome to a top forum "tfindlay".
There are a heap of members in & around Melbourne as well as across the rest of Victoria..
You'll find a heap of helpful & knowledgeable blokes & ladies on the forum and for most very willing to assist.
Make sure you show off your handiwork as everyone loves a photo, especially WIP [work in progress] photos with build notes.
Enjoy the forum.
Enjoy your woodwork.
Cheers, crowie
