Red face Ahoy from the Wild West

Hi all. I'm a newbie to working with wood, have dabbled in some very simple projects in the past but want to start doing more complex projects at our new place. I have an amazingly supportive husband who works away and while he's home we want to start doing jobs together - great bonding activity too now that we have the room to do so.
I'll likely ask some "special" questions but hey, if you don't ask you won't learn I've been doing a few of the DIY workshops at bunnings to get my hands on experience which has been awesome as the gent running the class is amazing

G'Day & Welcome to a top forum "Rae"....
There are quite a few members in Perth and across West as well as the rest of the country & world.....
You'll find a heap of helpful & knowledgeable blokes & ladies on the forum and for most very willing to assist.
Make sure you show off your handiwork as everyone loves a photo, especially WIP [Work In Progress] photos with build notes.
    Enjoy the forum.
    Enjoy your woodwork..
    Cheers crowie

welcome to the forum, as you will find everybody on here was a newbie at one time, so don't stress it. every question that is asked is special but never dumb, so go for it. there is massive amounts of information on this site, don't get over whelmed by it.
