Hi all
I have been lurking for a fair while and actually thought I had done an introduction ages ago but apparently not. Anyway so I am now..... Hi.
I am located in Fish Creek in beautiful South Gippsland and I am a photographer. I do digital but my passion is old cameras and processes like wet plate (1850's). Most of my life however has been in the building industry. I was fortunate enough to have done my time as a carpenter back when the "old guys" were still around and would impart a bit of wisdom if you had been behaving combine this with a grandfather that was (to me anyway) an awesome tradesman and I have turned out with an absolute love of timber and an appreciation of craftsmanship that sometimes is a weight around my neck lol especially when I am struggling to get something to turn out like I know it should! You know what they say.... a little bit of knowledge is dangerous!
Anyway I am looking forward to being both a contributor and a student.
