Default New from Melbourne, taken on my than I can chew

    Hi Fokes,

we have decided to restore a pool table that was painted white.

In the process of sanding it back. Legs are Pine and the rest is some hard wood red in color.

The plan is to stain it 2 tones the legs in Japaneses black, and the rest in red color.

Reason for joining is to help identify the wood, and to get advice on staining as it my first time doing any thing like this.

    Thanks
