Newbie wood worker on forums from sunny Canberra
Hello all,
I thought I would give a quick intro and say hi to all. I currently live in Canberra and love this little country town. I am a keen wood worker and keen to learn a lot more through this forums and from all members .
I would like like to ask a question, I recently purchased a MLT 100 Makita table saw and was wondering if you can use the rip fence from MAKITA 2704 because it looks sturdier than the Makita MLT 100 and put that on the MLT 100. I have looked at you tube and see a lot of people modifying the MAKITA MLT 100 rip fence as they both are a poor build.

G'Day & Welcome to a top forum "Ocean".
There are quite a few members in the ACT & Southern Highlands with a stack of members in Sydney area plus the rest of the country.....
You'll find a heap of helpful & knowledgeable blokes & ladies on the forum and for most very willing to assist.
Make sure you show off your handiwork as everyone loves a photo, especially WIP [Work In Progress] photos with build notes.
Enjoy the forum.
Enjoy your woodwork.....
Cheers crowie
