Grammar
The school child brings two books home from the library. One is Australian adventure stories, the other, Australian facts and statistics. After dinner, the child asks, “Daddy, will you read me a story from my new book on Australia?” The father says, “Sure. Go upstairs and get ready for bed. I’ll be up in a few minutes to read you a story”. True to his word, the father goes upstairs a few minutes later. However, he grabs the wrong book. The child immediately recognizes that his father has the book of facts and statistics, and protests, “Daaaaddddy! Why did you bring that book that I didn’t want to be read to out of about Down Under up for?”
Of course truth is stranger than fiction.
