Hi, I hope I'm in the right section here. I have a question in regards to some rusted bolts I have under my house. They are exposed to the elements and are fairly rusted as I live 400m from the beach. I was wondering whether rust will stop spreading once I cover them up with a drop ceiling I'll be putting in? Seems a fair pain and time consuming to replace them all if the rust won't further spread once covered up? Or maybe I could just spray them with cold gal and then cover them up? Any help would be great, thanks in advance. PS- They are cyclone rods which I am ranting about.
