Ordering windows - terminology (aluminium size, over reveal size and stud opening)
Hi, we are putting orders in for our windows and gave measurements to a company.
They have asked whether our measurements are the aluminium size, over reveal size or stud opening. We have no clue what any of this means!
Let's say for example we wanted a window 500mm (h) x 1000mm (w) - which is what is visible once its installed - so the measurements of the glass including the aluminium frame. What should we therefore respond with? I hope this makes sense!
We have tried asking the company but it seems like we don't understand each other!
Thanks!
