Do I really need a #50 or 050 if I own a new Record 405 with all of its cutters?

Do I need a #50 style plough plane? I already own a new record 405 combination plane with its standard cutters.I have been looking at metal combination style plough planes like the Stanley #50 I thought (my non expert opinion) is the 45's ect were maybe an improvement or replacement for the older #50

I think not thought the record 050 might be lighter.
