TNT are teasers
I was supposed to get my TSC-10HB today.
I saw the truck pull up and I bolted for the door. The bloke was carrying in the slide (for the fence I assume) .... I'm jumpin up and down in anticipation ..... he then passed me the slip to sign and I froze ... what!!!!! ... Oh yeah, he says, this is a split delivery ... the other truck with tailgate will bring the other box ....
OH how cruel!!!!
At least he was prepared to advise me what to set up for getting the saw's box into the shed and walked the path to check that the pallete jack would navigate the path to the shed.
TNT says it should arrive tomorrow .... can't do anything with the new bandsaw until I get the 10HB in as I figure I'll need all the space for unpacking/setting up .... busy weekend ahead for little old me!!!!!

Settle down, only one more sleep
If at first you don't succeed, give something else a go. Life is far too short to waste time trying.

Well it got here safe and sound at 7:30am. It's already unpacked and the plate cleaning will start tonight. My wife mentioned she liked the Blue, it reminded her of a painting she likes and would like to get .... stupid me ... I said, well now we don't need the painting, we have this beauty!! ... stupid stupid me ....
I must thank the driver from TNT ... he, with my help, moved the saw around the back of the house on his palette jack and I suggested it would be fine at the bottom of the two steps into the shed. He said, why not get it into the shed and with a bit of heaving etc, we got it in. I now need to get the address of TNT canberra so I can write to them commending the driver from today and yesterday.

I know you won't read this till midnight so I'll put it in the past tense: hope you had fun
(And don't forget safety.)
Those are my principles, and if you don't like them . . . well, I have others.

Well, it's before midnight and I have just performed one or two test cuts.
Got all the waxy grease off the top., then put on and aligned the wings although the centre of the right hand wing appears to dip in the middle a tiny bit - had to put masking tape on the right wing as it tilted up, but all is good.
Had to take off the front fence rail once so as to properly mount the power switch ... Carbatec are you listening .... put a crib sheet in the box to make up for Taiwan's iffy manual and the fact that the Grizzly 10HB uses a different switch, so their manual didn't help.
Happliy, nothing was left over ...
Now the only things to do are
a. Properly align the fence
b. Get another brushing for the cross-cut blade as I don't fancy taking it out of the rip blade I tried my one and only brushing in first.
c. Ponder, perhaps together with Carbatec, how to get another wing as I purchased their 10HBR which means I get the router wing, rather than the left hand wing. As I intend to permanently mount a triton router in the table, it means I need another wing .... grumble grumble ... they NEED to tell people, that not all routers will fit without the extra wing!!!
Daddles, it's a lot quieter than my earlier Triton setup, so the neighbours should be pleased. I know I AM!!!!!Burn
