    Default Why not?

Woodwork? I have no training. Nothing at school. I just like wood. Feels nice. Smells good. Looks incredible.

My wife calls me Heyu. As in, "Heyu, don't leave your dirty clothes on the floor..." No respect at all.

Wait until she sees the supermegabloodyawesome woodwork you blokes are going to teach me.

    See you in the threads.

Hi Vic and welcome to a top forum. I don't know about teaching you, but we can show some awesome stuff on here to inspire you.
Just for your information, I failed woodwork at school and the only thing I could make out of wood was a decent campfire.
I now thoroughly enjoy woodwork, making mainly toys, pens and scrollsaw stuff for a local lady who turns them into fairy gardens.
Hope you enjoy yourself on here and if/when you have a problem, feel free to ask, and someone will be able to help you.

    Thanks Kryn.

I've got my heart set on making something nice for 'er indoors. At the moment it's a toss-up between a jewellery box and a socket set. I really need she really needs a new socket set.

G'Day & Welcome to a top forum "Vic"....
There are quite a few members in Perth and across West.....
You'll find a heap of helpful & knowledgeable blokes & ladies on the forum and for most very willing to assist.
Make sure you show off your handiwork as everyone loves a photo, especially WIP [Work In Progress] photos with build notes.
The woodwork is relaxing and rewarding in so many ways....
    Enjoy the forum.
    Enjoy your woodwork..
    Cheers crowie
