Home Builders
Evening all.
Not strictly a woodworking/renovation question but definately a house question!
Anyone ever built or had anything to do with Tamawood Homes? I've found a design of theirs I like (concrete slab, steel frame, brick, colourbond roof) which is quite reasonably priced but am unsure as to their quality? I don't care about their internal finishes... I can easily replace/upgrade anything I don't like. But I would really like solid bones.
Any thoughts/experiences?
Thanks in advance.

As youprobably realise tamawood arent actually builders. They are more like building agents. What they have is registered builders on their books who they give the work out to. It all depends on the builder you get to build the house which you kind of have no choice over i think.
Just like any contract builder their homes are only as good as the trademan being used. Also not being actual bulders themselves tamawood dont have any display homes. The best thing to do is ask a few people who have built with them. Word of mouth is the best advertising.
