Greetings from Blue Mountains
Hi all,
I am a hobbyist, mostly reclaiming stuff I come across into picture frames, boxes, etc. About to start a somewhat larger project, making my daughter an elevated bed with a desk (think bunk bed but the lower bunk is a desk). Already finding some good tips and ideas in this forum.

G'Day & Welcome to a top forum "sunny".
There are quite a few members on the Blue Mountains & western Sydney with a stack of members across the Sydney area plus the rest of the country.....
You'll find a heap of helpful & knowledgeable blokes & ladies on the forum and for most very willing to assist.
Make sure you show off your handiwork as everyone loves a photo, especially WIP [Work In Progress] photos with build notes.
Enjoy the forum.
Enjoy your woodwork......
Cheers crowie
PS - Keep an eye out for a get together at Katoomba for the Sydney area forum members....great way to met & make friends.
There's also a "sharpening get together" in Camden in early March......

Thanks for the welcome Keith and crowie.
crowie I'd anticipated that there might be quite a few on here from the Mountains, it's that kind of area. I'm fairly busy at the moment, get a bit of time late afternoons and some evenings for a bit of random dust creation and cleanup. I'm hoping to be able to come along to events in the community as time and schedule permit.
