and who closed the "I wonder..." thread? It was just getting good.
There are lots of us (well, 3) who have offered their substantial editing skills, free of charge to ) to help with the burden of cleaning up our smutty posts. I for one would have to lift my game if given that responsibiliy.
But I can't blame Neil for declining. Look what happened when Doortstop wa given admin priviledges. So, faced with losing you, my virtual family, I propose that we behave and stop trying to push the envelope that little bit further every f34king time.
Yours hypocritically
Jim(resident smartar3e)
ps. I'll be really good if you trust me Seriously, I'm a teacher, so my hypocrisy does know bounds, well between certain hours anyway.
I could become responsible (but I doubt your job is fun.)Last edited by Caliban; 27th August 2005 at 01:14 AM. Reason: some editor I'd be. can't spell "my"
Cheers

As an upstanding member of the forum, I believe I would make a great moderator. A quick check will show I'm honets hard working, never controversial, nevers swear, and never ever had a post deleted.
Gimme moderator powers, I'd use them for good, not evil.
MWAHAHAHAHBoring signature time again!

Once upon a time in internet land lived a man named Chris. He was the knave to the King of the land, and being a favorite of the King he was given special privileges. These included being given the power to moderate a bunch of testosterone charged (sorry girls, but I gotta make it sound good), middle aged blokes.
All was well until one day Chris AKA, doorstop, chucked a hissy fit, and decided to take his bat and ball and go home. In his fit of rage he deleted doorstop altogether from the register of blokes.
This made the King mad no end, cos it made a lot of old scrolls sound really weird when you read them, because a big gap appeared in conversations.
The King decided to banish doorstop from the realm, but being a sneaky kinda guy it is believed he was the first to adopt a pseudonym, and snuck back in as Christopha.
The End.Boring signature time again!

As soon as it costs people money to troll or spam the two problems will be solved overnight.
IMO I don't really see trolling as a huge problem on this forum....more of a problem with some forum members reaction to trolls and those suspected of being trolls.Whatever note you blow youre never more than a semitone away from the correct one....(Miles Davis)

I am very sorry if you thought that "NotRalph" was only a joke and was meant to "take the ****" out of the real Ralph. This was never my intention. My intent was merely to attempt, in a small way, to continue the excellent quizzes that Ralph had initiated. I feel that his contributions to this forum were absolutely first class and all that I hoped I might do by calling myself "NotRalph" was to hopefully encourage his return. I apologise unreservedly and fully to Ralph and to any forumite I may have upset in any way. Goodbye.
