Too nice a gift to actually use as a hammer onsite or in the shed Dave...Got to go in the display cabinet to show it off...IMHO....Cheers, Peter

The sort of first tool when you have no others, or as a last resort when you can not put your hands on your better tools.
You might be able to put a flat pack together with it, but I don't know if I would build a wall cabinet with it.
Well thought out.

I think it has post the integrity with which it was originally made. The concept I like. I like the thught with whih it was given too. I could see Jack's excitement as I opened it.

This defeats the old adage of,
When all you have is a hammer then every screw looks like a nail.Regards,

Many years ago, my business partner and I used to take on work-release inmates from the local juvenile correction centre for a couple of months work experience in the building trade prior to their release.
One particular young bloke never said a word for the entire time he spent with us. He was a very troubled soul. On the last day he offered me his tobacco pouch to roll a smoke. I took out a tallyho paper and passed the pouch back. I still carry that paper in my wallet and have done for last forty two years. You may find your hammer will be a bit like that.
