Just adding my thanks to Brett and Lola for hosting the event. This was the sixth in the series and I still get a buzz from finally meeting up with the people with whom I have had contact through the Forums. This time in particular I really appreciated catching up with Hiroller but also the other newcomers (to me) Pittwater Pete, Dirk Pittwater and 62Woolybugger (thanks for the name explanation).
Congratulations to those who purchased items at the auction. They included Orraloon, Ozhunter, Pittwater Pete and last, but by no means least, Fletty. Also thanks to 62 Woolybugger and Sawdust maker who purchased saws outside of the auction. Thank you to all losing bidders, because without you we have no auction. I trust all of you had some fun or a least a little giggle.
Thanks to PacMan, who had made a couple of excellent purchases that very morning at a local market and was so flushed with success that he donated two Berg chisels for the auction to go to a deserving charity, which was Dave TTC. This was because Dave is being messed around right royally by his employers.
Thanks to IanW, who donated the RH Davis tenon saw, and the proceeds of that sale will also be going to Dave. I should mention that there was another donation made separately for Dave, but this was done anonymously so I won't mention any names as I don't want to embarrass him and his son.
Dave still manages to get around to GTGs and wood shows despite all his woes. Thanks Dave. I hope the work situation sorts itself out as you deserve some stability in your life.
As to the rest of you regulars, great to see you again.
Regards

Thanks Paul and everyone else. It is humbling the way so many have rallied around particularly when I never expected it.
You guys and the few gals are truly my family. When I went to the service for my brother some months ago nothing mafe me happier than seeing one of you there. In the depth of sadness it pit a big genuine smile on my face to see him there and know all the support I have here
Thanks again Brett nd Lola. Now I guess its time for me to share some pics from the weekend
Loved tis little machine. Tried to load it into a red ute with strange number plates but had no luck
I was not the only interested
In fact I think all were
There was time to catch up
Share a yarn or two
And meet some new and old faces
Top weekend. Of course there was the deck but so many on it i failed to get a pic

My saw was hand delivered today by 62Woolybugger. Many thanks to everyone involved but especially Brett, Lola, Paul, Mike and Ian. When it was delivered, it was a stinking hot day and I was juggling finishing the stormwater drainage on the shed and babysitting, which I admit is an unusual combination. The Bubs were in awe of Mike and remarkably polite. It took a while for it to sink in that he has an uncanny resemblance to Santa in mufti and the kids were just hedging their bets!
l am already planning my next, and much bigger, saw rack!
