Just seen this thread and your plight. Very sorry to hear about it. However some good general advice being thrown your way. I hope something will come up for you.

Very pleasant evening had with simplicity and his other half tonight. They shared some of their experience and strategies for running a business, pricing etc.

Well i had some harvest work and thought it would last me thru till Christmas. Poor harvest and upon my return a business which can support a dozen blokes and more in a good year is struggling to keep 3
Out front of job agency waiting for them to open. 7 minutes to go but who's counting

Only came across this thread over the weekend, can't do much to help unfortunately but I certainly am supporting you in spirit.
Not wishing to get soppy, but Dave, you have come across as what I call a "doer" not a talker, you are not afraid to get your hands dirty nor do you appear to be afraid of hard work.
I would just like to add to the positive thoughts of the previous posters and say "stick with your principles " and karma has taught me in the past that the good bits will come, it does take time but I'm sure you will be an asset to whoever takes you on.Regards,
Bob
