While being able to view photos as a none member might be nice, there are a number of forums that I've joined just to see an attachment and most of those forums I've stayed active on if only as a lurker.

Evening all. Trying to de-mystify the mystery,so.... if any one can see pics in the links in my Reply#17 let me know. If so then my computer is faulty. If not then its still a mystery. cheers gordo

Thanks guys. Confirms my computer is ok. Saves me a 100 bucks in not needing it serviced.
As an aside, some of those pics i`ve used on other forums are intact there. The plot thickens. cheers

Thank you DavidG. That explains everything.Yes,i did have an I-Shack account at same time as Ph- bucket with some duplicated photos on both.Totally forgot that once closed down photos would be deleted. Can stop scratching my head now. Cheers gordo

That is why we like to have the photos loaded locally so they don't disappear.
