cheeze Bunnings are improving their customer relations, just phoned them about the above instructions and they found the same item (shock horror they knew what they were looking for) copied and emailed the instructions.
but the lil wire clips are elusive.I would love to grow my own food, but I can not find bacon seeds

Hi Tonto,
Do you have a sample of what you need, if so could you post a pic of it, also what is the size of the button, as I may be able to help with the wire clips.

From my limited experience the little wire doohickeys are a waste of time, if you want it to stay together then a roll of duct tape is needed. I fairly quickly graduated to the 'market stall' type of 3x3 as everything is bolted together.
As for instructions, I remember them being pretty useless as the ones I had did not have the numbers on the parts. I just laid out all the various tubes and junctions in groups by length and end fitting. There should be 4 tubes with some sort of stopper = bottom of legs - stick 4 of the most common size tube into them. That was easy.
Next you get to try out the various combinations of tubes until you get 4 lengths that will make the center pyramid and 4 sides. I never found that these make a tight frame (it keeps falling apart - duct tape) and the cloth cover is somehow meant to keep it all together. Unless things have changed there seem to be an infinite range of combinations that look OK but just don't quite work.
After swearing and sweating don't take it apart yet - get a permanent marker and mark all the joints with a system so you know which bits go with which - say legs get 1 mark, sides get two and the top gets 3. Do not let 'friends' help too much - supplying a few cold ones, a comfy chair and/or a sympathetic shoulder is about the limit, sometime they get too helpful and pull things apart before you have it all marked up (DAMHIK).
If you were in Sydney I could 'bless' you with two of these devices of the devil, but S.A. is a bit far.

Thankyou both, after being surprised at Bunnings help I had it altogether under 5 minutes. Its sitting inside my shed and I was about to start marking each piece of pipe but got an email stating another post on this thread.
I agree about the effectiveness of the bodgy wire clips, I will hold it together with duct tape
