60's fibro removing rear windows
We're currently renovating a 3 bedroom 60's fibro in Sydney's western suburbs.
It has the kitchen/dining and lounge backing onto what was originally a concrete rear patio with the laundry at one end, this has been filled in at some point to make a long and narrow room. Maybe 2.5m wide.
Currently it has the original kitchen window, dining room rear door/window and lounge windows that we're considering removing. I'm presuming that as they'd have lintels above them, we shouldn't have to worry about and further structural alterations. Sound reasonable? These windows span the widths of the rooms.
