G'day from Goulburn!

Figured i'd introduce myself, I just moved to Goulburn NSW and I'm just getting started in real wood working, I've always dabbled in building things (stands for various things, smoke house etc) but i think its time to take a little more pride in the work i do and the tools i use, and expand my knowledge! Its becoming as addicting as all grain brewing (one of the main reasons i build stands etc)!

I've just started restoring some old EA Berg chisels, and Disston saws my Grandfather had, he also had a block plane and a big slab or Oregon timber so i'll have a think about what i can do with it. Nice to see there is a place on the web for Aussies to share local info etc!
