Arsenic powder under the house for termites??
Hi,
I was chatting with my older neighbour recently regarding termites and the like.. We live behind heavy/ dense bushland and despite a recent test coming back all clear i would like to ensure that termites don't ever become a problem .
the neighbour was saying that a small amount of arsenic powder out of a drip bottle is all that is needed in certain places under the house to ensure that termites will never be a problem Now i know that arsenic is not overly safe but neighbour assured me that done properly with a small amount it isn't a problem He said that almost everybody did this back in the day to treat termites.. The neighbour has some small amount left and is happy to help with this...
is it true that this was once common practice??? Is it safe practice if i use a small amount??
thanks,
