Hello from Brisbane!

G'day everybody,

Great forum with loads of useful info here so looking forward to getting into it

It's been many years for me since my last build (families, work, travel, etc) but am keen to be back on the tools and building something.

Have a few small projects in mind to get the ball rolling (shelving unit for garage is top of the list) but really want to get a decent work bench set up with my carbatech vices I picked up last month.

My tool collection has been slowly building over the last few months as I rec'd a whole lot of "spend $40 and get $10 off" coupons from eBay (got about 10 in a row for some reason!!!) - kept my purchases to just over $40 each time meaning almost all purchases were 25% off

Will be happy to post pictures of my woodworking exploits for comments and criticism as it will be a good record to track progress.... Unfortunately I'll only be a weekend warrior as work, kids homework, etc must take precedence (that deal was signed up long before my forum registration )
