Hi Guys,

I need to repair the brick wall as seen in the picture below. The walls are a full masonry cavity, salt has attacked the brickwork below the decking and all the mortar has fallen out. As you can see from the horizon cracking in the render the wall is seriously dropping and needs to be replaced before it falls down.

Looking to rebrick the section in red all the way to the footing.
I plan on using 2 x acrowprops (at black lines on picture) with attachment to hold the upper part of the wall whilst the lower half is rebricked.

Has anyone done this before and can offer me any advice incase I am going in the wrong direction? The two acrowprops with strongboy attachments will be fully holding the weight of brickwork above. There is approximately 2 x 1.7m of brickwork to be supported. The window and door is attached to the inside cavity and the roof weight is shared across both cavities. So I believe the attachments should be able to take the weight of the wall for a few days until the new brickwork has done off.
