Default Sub-Forum Cloud thingies showing new post colours

A few changes have happened to the forums I know, but the colour difference between sub-forums with new posts vrs no new posts is extremely hard to see difference now. For my eyes it is a grey blue vrs a grey. Changing the viewing format doesn't seem to chage this either, not that I want to change the overall style anyway.

Is there any way of changing the colours myself, or can we get some colours that are easily distinguishable?

Neil, I use firefox and control the colours through that (background, text colours for unread and unread etc). I think that add-on that does this is NoSquint. Current colour scheme is grey background (about 15% black to knock the brightness back, 100% Cyan for unread posts, links etc, brown for previously viewed)

    Hope I'm on your track.....

Thanks FF but I use Chrome and have tried advanced colour schemes including contrast etc but it changed everything else but.
