New member saying hi
G'day fellow woodworkers. Mick is my name and I'm a bit do a newbie. Took up the craft after we renovated our new home 18months ago. I use recycled timbers mainly. Have a mate who gets me pallets ranging from 1200mm up to 4.8 metres long and I also get lots of old timbers fm his farm and stuff he scrounges for building and Reno sites.
Started our very small with a little hall stand and now most of our house and our daughters' houses are furnished from our sheds.
All of my pallets have only ever been used to cart gyprock round on so no chemicals in the timber.
Now have quite a nice shed set up with mainly Makita and Bosch tools, but a smattering of some Ryobi and Ozito too.
I'm always looking for new ideas and tips and I'm really looking forward to looking around this forum.
cheers, Mick

Hi Mick.
Welcome aboard.
I'm a new member too.
I noticed a competition type thread on here where they challenge members to make something from a pallet. With your experience, you'd be a shoe in to win.
See you around.
Pete.
