Sewing Table
Hi everyone
I am a bit slack with posting what I make so I thought I better do it a bit more often.
The latest is a sewing table for the Mrs. Its made out of recycled jarrah and the top is just white melamine. I hate the top but it makes a good work surface and its practical.
Its an L shaped table as you can see. I didn't put any legs on the L bit so her legs can just swivel around between sewing machines.
It looks a bit weird but.
Its finished in 4 coats of oil and 1 coat of wax.
The Mrs likes it which is the main thing.

Happy wife, happy life. Lots of repair jobs and things made.
If it is used it is work making.

Are they little socks you have put on the legs or a trick of the light? Looks great. You don't think the counter lever will be an issue?
Cheers

Ahh the little socks are a stuff up. You know the rule measure twice cut one, well I didnt do it.
I cut all of the legs too short.
I extended them by glueing an extra bit on the end with a floating tenon.
All worked out in the end
