Yes, sometimes you just got to keep going. You know inside yourself that job is just not good enough.
I do not know why this was so hard.
definitely not the WOP.
But maybe the wood, weather, or???
I tried all the tricks I could think of and the ones in reply to here.
I was wet sanding at the end and then drying with a heat gun, so maybe that was the difference in the end (heat).
Oh well, I am happy now, just time to move onto the next job.

In the end, how many coats did you apply, and did you sand between each. It looks beautiful A job well done!

Thanks. There are about 8 coats over a well sealed and filled base. Sanding between each.
