As much as I hate to see it, whats happening is fantastic for cricket. Personally I am more interested when we are struggling to win, when its a real effort. In the last few years the cricket has struggled to hold my interest other than when we go to India. Again, because its not a given.
It reminds of all the series against the Windies when we had a chance and nearly always lost in Adelaide and Perth. Damn I used to hate Curtly because he so good. But it was riveting stuff.
Hope it keeps raining though...
Reality is that we have too much talent both in the team and waiting to worry about the long term.
As far as this series is concerned, our biggest mistake is not playing McGill. He's better than Giles and look what he's doing.

I agree that Magiller should be playing. At least he's got a wrong 'un, unlike Warney.

The more I watch this team, the more I think our problem starts with P and ends in G. Oh yeah, it's also got ontin in the middle.
Two or possibly three people have put in in this game.
Warne, Lee and Dizzy (but as a batter ferchrisakes )
They used to say that they'd walk through a brick wall for Steve Waugh. I can't see them walking through custard for Ponting.
So who is going to be the next Aussie captain?
Gilly or Gilly or perhaps Gilly?
Insert your opinion here.

I reckon they should move Dizzy and Warney up the order. Imagine the look on the Poms faces if they walked on number one and two

PS: Simon jones what snotty nose, top-lip trembling, arrogant little pratt. The blue singlet is an aussie icon mate! Can't wait to see Hayden deliver him a few front foot pullshots.Cheers,
