    Default INCRA I-box Setup Question

I am setting up my new Ibox. The instructions say to position the red knob on the left for a left tilting saws and on the right for a right tilting saw.
    Carftsman 10" jobsite table saw.

When I think of tilt I think top pointing downward..WHATEVER....does this make any difference what side I position the red knob. i'd rather have it on the rght since I am right handed?

    thanks in advance.

Best to go by the instructions, tilt will be from bottom to top, if you put the adjusters on the right you'll
be using your left hand for handling the timber and clamping, which is by far the most activity you'll be
doing on the i-box. also with the adjusters on the left for left tilt you only have to kiss calibrate once, if you change
out dado blades often you'll be doing it everytime for the opposite setup

    my thoughts

ColW I think you're right. I changed Dado blades to try different widths and got caught out. I couldn't get it to work properly. I had to kiss calibrate every time. Damn..follow the instructions guys. It's the only way to go.
