Hi there
Hi guys! My name is Nicole and I am from Perth, Western Australia. My husband and I own a Musical Instrument Repair. Been in business for 12 + years and I was told from day dot that if I am working with the business...then I have to have some basic repair knowledge. Helps that I love making things! We deal with all Woodwind, Brasswind and String instruments.
Been together for about 25 years...and as my hubby is a pretty handy person (ex military) and the smartest person I know, so I have had the advantage of being taught by the best. Always loved playing with wood - he likes the metal! Still very much a novice...as I have only really started into the woodturning this year. I joined up with the forum to enter the Australia Day pen swap...and had a ball with it. I even have my own section of the shed now setup with all my pen supplies
I am still learning, with wood and would like to play with the acrylics soon. Any advise or tips are always appreciated! I love challenges and out of the box ideas!
