I am renovating my bathroom and I'm hoping to relocate our linen/laundry cupboard into bathroom (it will open into the hallway).
At the moment, in the middle of where the cupboard will open up is a stud supporting a prop (?? I think that is what it's called) for a tiled roof. I am hoping that this is a relatively easy and not expensive fix (haha)
I have attached a pic of the bathroom showing the stud that needs to be removed (circled in red).
At this stage my thoughts are to add jack studs (blue lines) and a header plate (green line)
