Getting the bus
A mate and I were about to leave the city the other night
when we discovered we did not have a fare between us.
My mate said, "We could steal a bus from the depot nearby".
We decided on that - he went into the premises whilst I kept
a look-out.
After a while I called out, "Have you found one yet"?
He replied, "I can't a number 91 bus which would go near our place".
I answered, "Don't be so stupid, just grab a number 36 and we can
walk from the roundabout down the road".
Strange isn't it - some people just don't think straight !
Life is short ... smile while you still have teeth.
