Gardener Pay Rates
Hei Guys,
After some background info for a letter I'm writing to my body corporate.
Anyone got any idea what a gardener would charge - mowing with push and ride on mower, edging, and trimming lots of trees and bushes, usiing his own gear.
Most of the crap goes in the complex skip so no cartage or tip fees.
Cheers
Paul

What ever they think you will pay.
Depends on the time they will be on site.
Budget on $40 - 80 per hour.

is the gardener engaged by the Body Corporate or by a managing agent?
are most of the owners also occupiers or are they largely landlords.
if the latter, $80/hr is only $40 after tax for them
as a very rough rule of thumb, a charge out rate needs to be approximately 2x the employee's hourly rate.regards from Alberta, Canada
