What is your favourite Marvin Gaye Song?
Mine is "Let's get it on".
Am I the only one who listens to this kinda cr@p?
Your thoughts please.

Also, see if you can get a copy of the 'What's Going On' album.Cliff.
If you find a post of mine that is missing a pic that you'd like to see, let me know & I'll see if I can find a copy.

Hi fellas.
I used the term cr@p, I admitt incongruously, with the substance of the thread for the following reasons.
1) My generation use this word affectionately as a substitute for many things.
2) More importantly, My father would call this music cr@p, and this was my way of acsertaining who on this forum is not like my father, a strict and old fashioned fundamentalist, from a generation dominated by insecurity.
3) I am flexing my newfound and creative cybertyping.
I've got the What's goig on album, It's a bona fide ripper.
I judged you Cliff as a cool character from your "sign off".
It's nice to meet some of you who are frank, easy going and declare your names. Others seem a little stern and hide behind their screen name.
I believe I fit in nowhere, I like it that way, But perhaps we have a few things in common?
What other music do you fellas like?

The "Oils" would have be great without that skinny politician creep as their front man and Missy Higgins is almost as crapppy as Kasey Chamberpot!
Cute, cuddly, chainsaw wielding killer teddy bear!

I don't know Missey Higgins but Kasey Chambers ( whose music I can't stand either!) comes from near here ... a couple of years ago during the xmas/ new yr break there was a comm. market in the main street of Beachport ( I have a shack there) and there was a young local girl singing away at a mike, singing Kasey Chambers songs.... she was BAD!.... she had an audence of one.... I should say "A totally RAPT audience" of 1..... Kasey Chambers herself! Funny as a fit !!

Must admitt I can't stand Casey Chambers or Missy Higgins.
The Oils are the stuff, and I suppose Cold Chisel and Richard Clapton.

I know I am showing a little of my age now, but just love some grunge (also mostly laid back R&R). Who better than the grandaddy of grunge himself - Neil Young.
