Gazaly,
Not really, beard is much shorter these days and hat less wizard-like.
See ya there.

In the past two years we have met just inside the main entrance to the main hall at midday. Last year we wore identification tags (except Colin, who insisted on wearing his wife's frilly pink number). What about this arrangement again?
Below is picture from last year (?), and I am on the extreme right (the good-looking Galoot). Just so you will recognise me, those whom I have not met before.
Regards
Derek

Incidentally, for the benefit of everyone else: that is Derek on the extreme right of the photo but it won't help you because the photo doesn't look anything like him.Driver of the Forums

No-one would believe me....
"It's ok, I am only going to the woodshow to check out the guys with grey hair who are wearing caps......." "they are online friends of a woodforum"...Oh yes anyone will believe me!
Come on now 99% of those attending the woodshow are guys with grey hair wearing caps...... well if nothing more we could register for the largest luncheon date ever....
Sorry had to see the funny side of this...Yes we are going to the woodshow but we go on Friday, so looks like I am looking for Adrian, Gazaly & Pops...Ed & I will both wear Leather Hats plus we will wear name badges... as no-one has set time for Friday, so we will head for the main doors about 12am also. We take our lunch & get a clearence pass to come back in but that ok, we can join you still.
Bring some pictures of your work....looking forward to meeting some of you!Don't think you're playing it safe by walking in the middle of the road.....that's the surest way to get hit by traffic coming from both ways!
I'm passionate about woodwork.......making Sawdust again & loving it!

I am not middle aged and I do not have grey hair! I will be at that entrance at midday. You will recognise me by my aura of self confidence and the pungent stench of............
PS I certainly wont be wearing a flannellette shirt either!Cheers,

Kekemo,
I will keep an eye out for you on Friday. Want to check out the demonstration on building kitchen cupboards, since I don't have a kitchen that is. Demo is on at 12:30 so will try and catch you and Gazaly a bit before 12:00. Sure we will bump into forum people earlier anyway.
Like I said, grey beard and a cap, can't miss me.
Lefty, age and grey hair ain't all bad you know, I get a seat on the bus sometimes, particularly if I have to run to catch it and stumble on board all out of breath. Enjoy the show everyone.
Cheers

Saturday, Friday, Saturday......
OK, I know I am the one doing the typing here, but wish my hubby could make up his mind!
Actually no, I am in complete agreement with him, we have cancelled Friday for Saturday, not that it will worry anyone. Our daughter rang and said she had arranged to have Friday off to come down and do some woodwork with us, we are helping her make a coffee table, when they want to be involved it's the best thing, it made no difference other than to be polite & let you know the days been changed.......sorry for the guy on Friday, but will stay in touch via email.
So guess I will see the Saturday luncheon date!

well, unless my U-beaut cap miraculously turns up today (highly unlikely), I will be wandering around the show, probably with a very bored wife in tow.
Theres a few demonstrations I want to have a look at so I might be there most of the day. I'd like to see the gifkins box making demo, but may not last that long!.
Anyone who went today willing to give a quick overview.....
Anyways, I will be wandering around with a Fujitsu hat on, so if you see me say g'day
