Market place ad
I have tried to place an item on the Market place, but alas no good.
In Reserve price I place same as per start price.
Site tells me in red "please enter a value equal to or greater than 1"
I think my start price is greater than 1 so I do not know what to put there.
Any one help me please.

Your start price is purely that a start price.
As it says along side start price box.Set what the first bid should be... WARNING this price will show as minimum bid until first bid at the Start Price has been made. The bids will then show in increments that you set in Minimum Bid:
eg: Start price = $50 Minimum bid Price = $5... First bid will be $50 the next will show in Minimum bid as $55 and each subsequent bid will increase by $5 unless bidder wants to bid more.
Reserve Price:
Specify the minimum price (hidden) for which you are prepared to sell your advertised item. At expiration time the highest accepted bid over the reserve will be accepted You also have the option to manually select a winner at any time. That amount could be altered later on but not lower than highest current bid.
Next Minimum Bid:
Specify the lowest accepted bid amount. If there is a current bid the minimum next bid will be current bid + that amount, otherwise it will be the start price.
Buy it now Price:This option will allow people to bypass the bidding and deal with you directly. If you are setting up an amount, make sure you enter your PayPal email for collection. A successful purchase will automatically close the auction.
The Buy it Now Price applies to someone who wants to use PayPal and as it says above if someone wants to take it, they can pay the Buy Now price and that will stop the Auction dead in it's tracks.
If you don't have a PayPal account don't use the Buy it Now box. You can add a price to the body of your test or in the Price box further down the screen after the text box.
Hope this is of some help.
Cheers - Neil
PS Not sure where you got the Site tells me in red "please enter a value equal to or greater than 1" in red bit. I'll be blowed if I can find that anywhere. I would be grateful if you could take a screen shot of it and put it in this thread so I can see what and where it is.

Cookie, I think you will find that the $ sign is your problem, just tried to place an ad and the warning comes up when I put a $ sign in the box, but not with numbers only, ie it is numerical data field and doesn't understand anything else.
