Hi from Spreyton in Tassie
Hi I'm from Spreyton in Tasmania, about 5k from Devonport, where the Spirit docks. I am interested in purchasing a table saw for my shop, and I want one that has dado or rebate capability. Have been considering the Hafco ST 254, and would like to hear from anyone who has one, or has used one, for a bit of feedback on its performance. I would really appreciate your feedback.
regards
Stevie

Welcome aboard. It is a long time since I have been over the straight. Would be good to go back for a holiday some time.
Looking forward to seeing some of your work.
As for your question on table saws you may find the machinery section is a better place to ask that question. The mods know best and post a link to the most appropriate section for your benefit.

G'Day & Welcome to a top forum "Steve"
There are quite a few members in Tassie plus the rest of the country and across the world.....
You'll find a heap of helpful & knowledgeable blokes & ladies on the forum and for most very willing to assist.
Make sure you show off your handiwork as everyone loves a photo, especially WIP [Work In Progress] photos with build notes.
Enjoy the forum.
Enjoy your woodwork..
Cheers crowie
PS - On your questions, may I suggest you write a couple of new threads in the specific sections as your questions as you'll gain a wider audience to better answer your questions..

Hi Stevie, I noticed you are enquiring about the Hafco ST-254. I posted a similar thread for the same machine the day after you. You really need to put something about what you want to know in the title so it comes up in the search.
Anyway, here's the link to my thread if your interested https://www.woodworkforums.com/showth...93#post1834793
Hafco have been in touch with me and I have the manuals for the machine. if your interested I can email them to you as I don't seem to be able to upload them.
