    used to drive to Sydney from Canberra for a hamburger ...

    Doesn't Canberra have a hamburger place? Where I lived, the burger joint closed at 5.30 and that was 10 mile away. Population was 20 except on weekends, it went to 30, and public holidays went to 50.
