G'Day there!
I have been registered for a while now, but it feels good to be back. Looking from the outside some of the post that I have read are accurate, well written and of generally local content.
I am looking forward to a more engaged involvement in the the future and cannot wait to start reading more of the forum's content and expanding my knowledge base.
Just getting back into some woodworking things, furniture and box making I think will do for now.
I already have some good equipment, but I think I am in the market for a good value and good quality table saw. Don't expect to do anything huge but definitely want an accurate and robust saw.
I currently use a Bosch Contractors saw, which while reasonable quality, it is far too noisy, Aluminium table(yuk!) and not particularly rigid, but want something better and definitely more stable. Space is not an issue.
Any thoughts from members is very welcome.
Regards to all members Peter

G'Day & Welcome to a top forum "Peter", but think you already know that being a member for a good while....
Anyways, there are a heap of members in & around Melbourne as well as across the rest of Victoria..
You'll find a heap of helpful & knowledgeable blokes & ladies on the forum and for most very willing to assist.
Make sure you show off your handiwork as everyone loves a photo, especially WIP [work in progress] photos with build notes.
Enjoy the forum.
Enjoy your woodwork.
Cheers, crowie
PS - On the new machinery advice, could I encourage you to as the question in the specific subsection of the forum as you'll get a greater audience of members viewing and thus answers your chasing.....
