    How does the tree Acacia carnei get its nick name "Dead finish"?

    Two possible explanations:

    1. Acacia Carnei a hardy plant..is usually the last plant to keel over in a severe drought.

    2. During severe drought when its the only plant left the rabbits eat there way up into the bush and eventually get caught up in the branches and die there.

    Oh you cheater!
    1. Tis correct finish dead last, acacia carnei isnt the only dead finish acacia tetragonophylla(try saying that 10 times!)is another. There may be some more but I cant find them... yet.
