Yeah. I'm still trying to find the orbital sander I dropped last week (making oars - they produce nearly as many shavings as masts).

No, the shavings were all honestly obtained using my unbranded, el cheapo No4 that I liberated from a second hand market, my old block plane that I liberated from my Dad, and my spokeshave - second hand but unused from that same second hand market but at a bargain price. Said spokeshave actually works now that I've finally got an edge on it - it appears to have come out of the Stanley factory with a cutting edge that would make a butter knife coo with envy.

My Little Princess (4) loves playing with the big shavings from my plane. It's amazing where I find them, though I do have a healthy commiseration for the poor beggar she eventually marries
