Forum or me?

I'm getting an avatar/photo appearing in strange places. I recognise it but can' t put a name to it.

It is appearing particularly where someone has liked a post but it is the same avatar/personal photo each time. There is also a partial yellow car avatar which is appearing at the top of each thread and appears to be attaching itself to the thread tools and partially obscuring them.

Is it me or has the forum been "attacked"?

Bob, all appears normal here, both on my laptop and on my tablet.

Ipad 4 , will get to desktop iMac this afternoon. Both the tablet and desktop are running the latest iOS and have been for a while with no problems.

Windows, iThing, Android, ????

Mac

Any other information you can think of would help.

When exactly do you recall this beginning?
Started yesterday afternoon at approx 4pm. Have logged out and on, turned off and on, will clear history and cache when I finish this but probably won't get back on until this afternoon. From what you are saying it appears to be me. Don't know the how's or why's as I have not had this before in any situation.

Yep, it was me from the look of it. I thought it would be easier for you blokes if I could check and get back to you asap.

Cleared the history etc and rebooted the iPad and all now appears to be "normal".

Not sure if this is a permanent fix but should anyone else get this problem then it is a step in the right direction.

Looks like something stuck in a cache.

Good stuff, sounds like you had a partially loaded CSS file cached.

I also get this prob on my iPad as well, always happens after viewing a thread in the Marketplace. Clear cache, stay out of Marketplace and all is fine till I next visit the Marketplace.

I hear what you are saying but I have had no problems going to or from any part of the forum.

Everything appears to be OK on my iPad and I'm not sure what a CSS file that Steven mentioned is but clearing everything out and rebooting has fixed my problem. I don't use Tappatalk not sure if this could be a compatibility issue - I just prefer to use the "normal" setup.

I really appreciate the work done behind the scenes which keeps our forum going and the great sharing of ideas.

Somebody had this problem not long ago, flush your cache on your browser.
